ECHINAMIDE™ is a patent pending extract of E. purpurea, certified organic echinacea grown in BC's Okanagan Valley at Factor Farms. Our potent Cough & Cold formulas include other herbs known to relieve coughs as well as colds and contain no artificial flavour, sweetener or colouring. Available in tincture, as a flavoured extract and in our popular and effective Cough and Cold syrup.

This Echinamide based Syrup is a powerful, effective, alcohol free blend designed to quell the urge to cough while enhancing the immune system, helping a cold. This syrup contains a broad range of healing herbs and plant oils that work together synergistically. The addition of mullein and horehound makes it a superior expectorant, also, breaking up phlegm. The cold and cough syrup is in a base of Natural Factors Echinacea honey, from hives in the echinacea fields at Factor Farms. This makes the syrup both delicious and more effective, as honey is both antiseptic and antibacterial.

  • Directions

    Directions: 1 teaspoon (5ml) two times per day or as directed by a health practitioner. Keep out of reach of children. Shake well before using. Refrigerate after opening.

    Ingredients: Each teaspoon (5ml) contains: Medicinal Ingredients: ECHINAMIDE ®Echinacea Purpurea (aerial) liquid extract 1.2:1 975mg, ECHINAMIDE ® Echinacea Purpurea (roots) liquid extract 2.6:1 260mg, Mullein leaf (Verbascum thapsus) liquid extract 1.2:1 636mg, Wild Cherry Bark (Prunus serotina)liquid extract 2.4:1 1068mg, Peppermint Leaf (Mentha piperita) 315mg, Horehound leaf (Marrubium vulgare) liquid extract 1.77:1 195mg, Eucalyptus Oil (Eucalyptus globulus) 2.6mg.
    Non-medicinal Ingredient: Lemon Oil 8.5mg.
    In a base of echinacea honey (from hives in the echinacea fields of Factors Farms) and glycerin/water (50%:50%).

    Warning: If symptoms are severe and persist for more than 2 days, or cough worsens and persists for more than 1 week, or if accompanied by a high fever, consult a health practitioner. Not recommended for pregnant and lacta-ting women. Echinacea may stimulate the immune system, therefore those on immuno-suppressive drugs, che-motherapy, or who have had recent tissue transplants should use only under the direction of a health practitioner.
